Edward Eyth is an award-winning artist and educator whose sculptural art has gained international awards and recognition. His expertise in anatomy and dynamic motion is combined with a capacity to portray candid, intimate likenesses. His portrayals of athletes combine grace and power; his depictions of children are expressive and personal. His works include small studies to life size statues, portraits and monumental sculptures. Among his most notable achievements are 2013 Sport Artist of the Year honors from American Sport Art Museum and Archives and in 2008 his “Olympic Spirit” sculpture was a finalist in the Beijing Olympics Sculpture Design and part of a global touring exhibition.
